About Programme
|
Electrical and Electronics Engineering Master of Science Program of Yasar University has been established with a mission to follow and apply cutting edge technologies in deep and at the same time to participate actively in applied and theoretical research. Through the application of the program, the ability gained will be used for the solution of complex problems of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The deep understanding of area and the interaction with other disciplines will provide them to participate in creative and integrative design activities. Thus they will contribute to scientific literature.

The Main Branch of Science
History
Today the technology has been entered in every aspect of life that had never been in the past. The most effective of them is the electrical and electronic technologies. The electrical and electronic technologies has a very wide spectrum. Energy production systems, TV-satellite systems, telecommunication systems, mobile telecommunication systems, modern transportation systems, medical systems, information processing systems, intelligent control and production systems, robotic systems are few of them.
Knowing the importance of the area, Yasar University decided to establish the Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering programme in 2010. Thus it would also contribute to the manpower of the country. The first students of M.Sc. programme started to the education in 2010-2011 academic year. The first graduates take their diplomas in 2012.
By the 2018-2019 academic year, 4 professors, 1 associated professor, 4 assistant professors take part in research and teaching activities in Electrical and Electronics Engineering programme.

Qualification Awarded
|
The student who successfully completes the program is awarded by the degree of Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Graduation Requirements
|
Students, who have achieved all courses in their programs with a grade of minimum B- or S and CGPA of 3.00 over 4.00, are qualified to gain a Master’s degree with thesis, complete their master’s degree education with thesis and provide all required conditions for graduation.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
The areas related with Electrical and Electronics Engineering is very wide. Production and distribution of electrical energy, telecommunication, medical electronic, information processing, intelligent control and production, robotic, consumer electronic are the first ones that comes to mind. The graduates may be employed in the companies working in these areas. They may also work in the institutions having research, development and design in similar areas. By contuining to Ph.D. programs they may also be employed as academic staff by higher education institutions .
